Bowmanstown, Pennsylvania is a borough located in Carbon County, in the eastern part of the state. As of the 2010 census, the population was 937. The borough covers an area of 0.9 square miles. The community was named after a settler named William Bowman who owned a farm in the area.

The borough is located along Route 248 and is situated in the Lehigh Valley region. It is approximately 12 miles northwest of the town of Lehighton and 82 miles north of Philadelphia. Bowmanstown is served by the Palmerton Area School District.

Historically, the area was known for its iron mines and production of iron products. Today, Bowmanstown is a residential community with a few small businesses and attractions such as the Bowmanstown Rod and Gun Club and the Lehigh Canal Park.
